Election Results Update
With almost 2,100 votes counted (no word yet if this is final, but over 4,000 votes were cast in the election last November, although I’m sure turnout for this election was smaller, as May elections tend to be), the numbers are:
FISD Proposition 1 – Second High School
For: 1243 (60%)
Against: 844 (40%)
Mayor
Grooms: 690
Weatherford: 416
(All city council positions are unopposed, so in the sake of posting this as quickly as possible, I’m skipping those…)
FISD School Board Trustee (3 seats up for election; top 3 take the seats)
Bell: 1,038
Taylor: 953
Walker: 849
Andrews: 507
Johnson: 461
Carroll: 371
Morrow: 316
