Forney ISD has posted sketches and a virtual tour created by the architect designing Forney ISD’s new, second high school. The school looks beautiful, and will be a wonderful addition to the community. In addition to the electronic textbook program, the design of the school incorporates quite a few modern elements and the latest technology, offering excellent opportunities to the students of Forney ISD. Construction on the new school, which is to be built off of FM-548 (take 548 north, past WalMart, past Steve Silver Co. you’ll eventually see a sign on your right marking the site of the new school), is scheduled to begin in January 2008 and the campus will open in August 2009.
