Homecoming Parade & Events Tonight & Saturday

Just a reminder, the Forney Homecoming Parade is tomorrow, Saturday, at 10AM. The parade begins at Warren Middle School, goes down Bois D’Arc and then onto Main Street in Downtown Forney. While the parade begins at 10AM, it’s highly recommended that you arrive earlier than that if you want to watch the parade from Downtown Forney.

In addition to the parade, there’s a couple of other events I wanted to announce and encourage you to participate in – tonight, the Forney Sole Sisters, who are raising money for the Breast Cancer Awareness 3 Day Walk, will be at the Sonic in Forney on FM-548 near WalMart from 8PM to midnight. Drop by, hang out with friends to celebrate Forney’s homecoming weekend and browse the items the Forney Sole Sisters have for sale.

Finally, Randall Noe and Ford Motor Company are hosting a fundraiser for Forney Jackrabbit Athletics at Forney High School tomorrow, Saturday, from 11AM to 6PM. Ford will have 12 vehicles available in the Forney High School parking lot for individuals 18 years old and older to test drive. For every test drive, Randall Now and Ford Motor Company will donate $20 to Jackrabbit Athletics!
