Xpress Travel Robbed Overnight; Forney PD Apprehends Suspect
Forney PD Successfully Locates, Arrests Suspect in Mesquite
Forney Police Department Press Release
On Friday October 31, 2008 at approx 2 a.m., Forney Police were dispatched to Xpress Travel located at 120 East US Highway 80 in reference to a robbery. Forney Dispatch was told a black male took an unknown amount of money out of the cash register, left the store and was seen getting into a car heading west. Forney Police located the vehicle and the suspect was apprehended in Mesquite by Forney Patrol Officers Eudy and Hopkins. The driver, identified as Eddy Lee Spearman 41, of Dallas was taken into custody and transported back to Forney City Jail and is awaiting arraignment of Robbery charges.
