Confirmed – Taco Bell Coming to Forney!
Early this morning, Forney discussion forum member Nate Dogg posted exciting news from last night’s Planning & Zoning commission meeting – P&Z has approved the plat for a Taco Bell to be located next to the McDonald’s near the intersection of Highway 80 & Pinson Road. The plat next goes to the city council for approval, after which work should begin fairly quickly on the new Taco Bell.

Is the Taco Bell going on the site that has the information sign that lists Davey Davis as the contact?
I can’t remember for sure which sign that is, but the Taco Bell is going in close to the hotel that’s just about completed. If you’re traveling down the westbound service road of Highway 80 towards Pinson, you pass the McDonald’s and make a right to actually get to the traffic light on Pinson. Before you get to that traffic light, there’s a road that connects to the McDonald’s – the Taco Bell will be on the north side of that road, so basically, between the traffic light/intersection and the hotel, if that helps.
