The Forney I.S.D. will be holding a job fair March 7th, 2009 from 8:30-11:30am at Warren Middle School. They are looking to hire elementary teachers, secondary teachers, Special Education Teachers, ESL/Bilingual Teachers, GT Teachers, Counselors, Librarians, Therapists, Nurses, and Psychologists.

If interested, you can register for the job fair and submit a full application online via the FISD website.

Appointments will not be made; applicants will be interviewed in the order of reporting to the job fair. In order to minimize the wait for interviews, the following reporting times are recommended based on the first letter of each participant’s last name. These times are not required, only suggested in order to minimize the wait for registered participants.
08:30-09:30—A through I
09:30-10:30—J through R
10:30-11:30—S through Z

Participants should bring:
Two copies of their resume,
One copy of teacher certification (or documentation of progress toward teacher certification), and
One copy of any transcripts showing degrees earned (unofficial will be acceptable).
One copy of their two most recent appraisals; those completing student teaching can bring appraisals from their student teaching experience

Forney ISD staff members will not be interviewing auxiliary/support staff such as aides, custodians, office personnel, or food service positions at this fair.
