Windmill Farms is hosting an Arbor Day Fair on Saturday, April 25th from 12:00 noon to 4:00 pm at Spyglass Park. This is a community event that celebrates the role of trees in our lives and promotes tree planting and care.

As part of the event, Windmill Farms volunteers will be planting donated trees to improve our community and environment. It is exciting that Windmill Farms will be taking part in this nationally celebrated observance.
Some highlights of the event include:

• Urban Forester Pam Corder will provide information on planting, pruning and caring for trees
• Composting and Recycling Information – Kaufman County Environmental Co-op
• Kaufman County Extension Office – 4-H Program Information
• Windmill Farms Resident Business Owners Booths
• Concessions – BBQ, Hot Dogs, Sausage on a Stick
• Children’s Activity Area
• Bouncy House
• Prizes
• And More!

In coordination with the event, the Kaufman County Environmental Co-op is hosting an Electronics Recycling Event at Brown Middle School only a few blocks from the Arbor Day Fair.
