KCSO recovers estimated $25,000 in stolen vehicles

On Thursday, June 11, 2009, the Kaufman County Sheriff’s Department executed an evidentiary search warrant at 18223 South FM 148, Scurry, Texas. Officers received information from the Corsicana Police Department that there was possibly a stolen backhoe, four-wheeler, and trailer at this location, stolen from the city of Corsicana.
Upon execution of the search warrant, officers located a 2007 CON AM four-wheeler, a Yellow Terramite utility trailer, and a black gooseneck low boy trailer.
The owner of the residence is currently in custody in Corsicana on unrelated charges.
Total value of the recovery is estimated to be $25,000.
