Last week, Boy Scout Troop 339 held their quarterly Court of Honor at the Scout Hut in Forney. Scouts celebrated various activities and accomplishments over the past three months.

Pizza was provided by the Forney Rotary Club to honor the Scouts for their contribution to the Flags over Forney program. Rotarians Robert Mooney, Dr Darrell Brown, Mike Skinner and Trent Brown presented a check in the amount of $1022.00 to the Troop.

Special recognition went to Scout Travis Kuykendall for bringing in 10 new participants to the Flag program. Also recognized for their participation were Scout Cannon Welch, Scout Jake Bordelon, Scout Danny Monroy, Scout David Salazar, Scout Daniel Stanton and Scout Douglas Walker.
