Man Arrested in Forney Homicide
An arrest has been made in connection with the tragic murder of Forney resident Aveia Anderson on June 21st, 2009.
The Forney Police Department has released this information:
“Forney Police Department issued an arrest warrant for Avis Lamont Anderson June 30th for the murder of Aveia Danielle Anderson. Tuesday June 30th, East Baton Rouge Louisiana Sheriff’s Department informed Forney Police that Mr. Anderson had been arrested and was in their custody. Mr. Anderson will be extradited back to Kaufman County with no bond set. Investigation is still pending. ”

She was a dear, sweet young lady. I worked with her for a short time not knowing what she may have been going through at home.
