I feel that it’s important for anyone reading news - even if it’s fairly simple things such as what businesses are coming to Forney soon - to have a chance to know who it is that wrote what they’re reading and what their motivations might be. So this page exists to provide a bit of information about myself.

My name is Josh, and I reside in one of the larger developments in Forney. I moved to Forney very recently, after living around Arlington and Grand Prairie for some time while I was attending the University of Texas at Arlington. However, I’m no stranger to Forney - I grew up in Mesquite, and remember many childhood trips to Forney and Terrell for great meals (Carmona’s in Terrell was, and still is, a favorite!), as well as accompanying my parents on never-ending trips through the antique shops of Forney.
I set this website and this blog up because when we first began looking at homes in Forney, I heard a few rumors here and there from each salesperson at each builder about what might be coming to Forney soon, or what they had heard was coming. Outside of the Forney Bits-O-News website that posts the details of pretty much all the major meetings in Forney quite regularly, I couldn’t find anywhere online that discussed what businesses were opening up and what was going on in Forney. I hope that by creating this blog, I can create a site where people can check and see what’s coming to Forney and what’s been going on. I hope you enjoy it!
