Twenty Peaceful Minutes
guest-0bec: She many times isn't simply asking a question. That's now what an open records request is about.
guest-0bec: It's about getting hold of all kinds of documentation, including applications, personnel records, emails (lots and lots), etc
guest-32df: and so it circles back to her requests being a huge drain - and has been for some time now...
guest-32df: and there's nothing to do about it. Backlash maybe.
guest-32df: But no, that wouldn't work either. The Feedom of Information act.
guest-32df: But this is like abuse of that right. Maybe somewhere in the fine print there is a LIMIT to the requests?
guest-32df: There must be.
guest-32df: ... or moves should be made to establish one somehow.
guest-0bec: A town near Austin won a lawsuit effectively banning a couple from making any more FIA requests
guest-0bec: They were doing so many and it was costing so much time and preventing the city from effectively doing their job
guest-0bec: I wish they would look at that here with her
guest-3c6b: while the info should be available, there should be an administrative fee for it
guest-380b: when i filed a foia there was a fee for it.... and i think the point she is hitting at is that they are the city.. ie the
guest-380b: public... no business deals etc should be so sensitive that the people who pay the taxees shouldnt be privy to
guest-380b: if they want to be...
guest-380b: then again i guess at the federal level people have already accepted handing over their rights to the "professionals"
guest-380b: why would anyone expect it obe different on the lower levvel...
guest-0bec: There are fees for a FOIA request.
guest-0bec: But the fees don't really cover all the cost or the lost productivity.
guest-3c6b: why are the chazzrabbits playing a 4A school tonight?
guest-0bec: When you quit insulting the rest of the team, maybe someone will answer you
guest-3c6b: from reading the inforney article, I thought he was the whole team
guest-3c6b: never even metions the qb
guest-0bec: Remember that article was written by a high school intern. He will learn.
guest-0bec: and it was essentially a "profile" piece on Chazz. Happens all the time.
guest-0bec: The QB will get plenty of mention this year
guest-0bec: But since you did ask, they are playing Wills Point because the previsouly scheduled week 1 opponent backed out
guest-0bec: Not alot of options. May coaches have 2 and 3 years booked ahead of time
guest-7d81: Forney in news today. Not good.
guest-20f3: not good correct; however if you watch the entire recording
guest-20f3: the sgt recognizes the mistake and admits to it
guest-20f3: certain people are acting as if forney pd were bored to lets go out
guest-20f3: and pull over some black people.
guest-20f3: someon is capturing their 20 seconds of fame
guest-6eff: gotta wonder how much taxpayer money went to ryan short and modassic marketing for that slick piece of genius
guest-6eff: where's denise?
guest-844e: America's Toughest Sheriff, Joe Arpaio- In Forney, Sept 20- 1st Baptist Church
guest-32df: RJ A _ is a big on the leaderboard there. hee heeee, they give you 'points'
guest-32df: It's so new it doesn't take much to get points.
guest-32df: thanks 6c47. Maybe Ryan is you. Or the City Planning & Development guy
arejayavery: its definitely a neat concept... it will be interesting to see if it gets used.. more than likely people wil
arejayavery: just keep complaiing on FB hopefully not... obviously "The Stakeholders" will always have the final say
guest-a1cf: America's Toughest Sheriff, Joe Arpaio- In Forney, Sept 20- 1st Baptist Church --All invited-- Very interesting program!
guest-93b0: Uh oh!!!
guest-62a7: itll be really cool when we start listening people that are gonna actually be alive to deal with the future
guest-62a7: and not those that would be dead already were it not for blood pressure meds or modern medicine at all and surely
guest-62a7: will be dead in 10 years or less...
guest-4231: say huh??
guest-cfcc: See America's Toughest Sheriff- Joe Arpaio- September 20-- First Baptist Church, Forney, Tx---7:00 PM
guest-f835: who is the sheriffs appearance benefitting?
guest-07a2: Your mom
guest-62a7: lol of course its benefitting those that lead and need to feel comforted at the baptist church
guest-5a0c: I like Apaios willingness to stand up against the foolishness of the federal government
guest-5a0c: and his pink outfits for inmates......very cool
guest-e62a: Yes dehumanizing males by among them wear a stereotypically feminine color is so cool. So effective to I'm sure criminals
guest-e62a: Really think twice because of that one.
guest-8204: Criminals gave up their "rights" when they committed their acts against the public good
guest-6c73: Did Smith Elementary come out on the unacceptable list?
guest-6c73: I have kids there.
guest-cfcc: Sick of Obama- come and hear a Real American who would deal with Terrorist the Old Fashion Way- Sept 20, 1st Baptist Church i
guest-cfcc: Sheriff Joe Arpaio-- Coming to Forney- September 20-- 7:00 PM-- Google Kaufman County Tea Party for Details
guest-32df: He would huh? So he thinks he would. If he could. But he can't.
guest-32df: I'm not a big fan of Tea Party
arejayavery: lol... the old fashioned way... nothing like ignorant chest thumping to make people feel better
guest-cfcc: You are invited- "This Saturday Evening" to hear Sheriff Joe Arpaio--1st Baptist Church in Forney-7:00 PM America's Sheriff!
guest-6fff: Touching moment tonight honoring Forney's fallen soldier. Well done, Forney.
guest-4852: Councilmen Parker, Reagan, and Stephens lit it up apparently. Way to go, boys! Questions and accountability are good things.
guest-4852: The main issue at hand though seems to be behind them. Residual messes. Conserve our money and spend wisely!!!
