The Forney High School Marching Band won honors as the Outstanding Band in Class 4A at the recent Mesquite Marching Festival and finished 7th out of all 35 bands across all classes. This marks the first year that the FHS band took the Outstanding Band award at the Mesquite Marching Festival

The band takes the field again this Saturday, October 11th at the Desoto Marching Classic at the Desoto High School stadium. The first performance of the day is scheduled for 10AM; the FHS Marching Band is scheduled to perform at 2:30PM. Mark Poole, FHS head band director, invites all to come and show your support for the FHS Marching Band!
