The article you mentioned in the Community section has been up there for over a week now. I think that the article in the Community Section is verbatim of a "news release" type thing that was sent out to all the Chamber members from First National Bank (where Hannah's Mother works). I know the email I received is what Pookie posted originally.
 
If you click on the news article for the Celebration on the front page of the page, there is mention of the bake sale for Hannah and a picture of her along the side bar where the exhibitors are listed.
Also the Forney Messenger had an article yesterday talking about the various fundraisers going on for Hannah, including the Bake Sale.

I think it is great that we are getting help putting the word out from everyone in town.

I keep hearing that our turnout at the festival is going to be HUGE! I did a lot of baking yesterday. My little kids keep walking around saying "Who is Hannah and how come she gets all the cookies and brownies?"   :D

I didn't get a response from ShotgunWorld for prizes (which I am really shocked about.)  So I bought 2 new IPod shuffles this morning (one purplr and one blue) .  Hopefully they will do okay.  I will bring them with my baked goods tomorrow.  Gotta get baking!

That is awesome!! Another item I will be buying raffle tickets for!!!

Just to mention again, if you can't meet up with Nate before the bake sale, please have your baked goods to the booth by 1:00pm since that is when we will start setting up. Thanks again to everyone for their help on getting this bake sale going for Hannah.

Here is the info I have for the Forney Opry Fundraiser so far.

Hi Diana,
We will put on a show June 15th from 2:00 to 4:00.  All tickets sales will be  donated to Hannah.  The tickets will be $10 for adults, $8.00 for students,  and children under 5 free.  Also people can donate in the tip baskets.  Some of the performers said they will donate their tips to Hannah, too.
 
I think a silent auction will be great.  Also, I would like to have a "bake" auction.  I will bake some cakes, too.
 
Is there a way to get Hannah's picture only (without the writing) to make Forney Opry flyers?
 
Let me know if you have any other Ideas.

I can pull the photo out of the flyers and email it to you or to them, just let me know.

I'm really excited about tomorrow - I'm not 100% certain what time we'll be swinging by, but we'll be coming by to say hi and checking out the bake sale tomorrow!

Is it too late to donate to the Hannah Kessner fund at the First national Bank of Forney?  I would really like to help this family, but since I work weekends I have not been able to participate in the fundraisers.

They are still taking donations, just go up to the bank or through the drive-thru and tell them you'd like to donate to the Kessner family. They will take care of it for you. Thank you for your support!
