I will make a dessert that has yellow cake, vanilla pudding, crushed pineapple, cherry pie filling and cool whip.  It is huge (about 6 cakes) and I will divide it up in individual servings and larger servings too.  I will also bake and individually wrap cookies for sale.  My husband is in sales and I will get his vendors on raffle prizes.  He is always bringing home IPods, PSP's and such.  We may end up witha lot of little prizes too and could have drawings all day.  Plus, myself and my older kids are available to help all day.

My friend will also bring about 25 mini loaves of banana bread.

I won this from a radio station...I will also ask them when there if they can/will help out in anyway. :)
Do you guys have a radio station coming to the event KatieV?

Also, I will bring Chocolate Oatmeal No Bake Cookies to sale! I will make several dozen and bag them like 3 to a bag!

Oh, that would be so great, Pookie!!! I will definitely be bidding on that. What a great idea and so generous of you. I can tell that you are a bleeding heart like me. I feel like a little piece of my heart dies whenever I see anything about a hurting child.

No, I don't have a radio station coming. I tried to get KISS FM out there, but our league didn't have it in the budget. This is already costing a fortune, but the response has been so great it is well worth it.

I'm buying some of Pookie's cookies! My mom used to make me those and I love them!

Something tells me Steph will make me buy raffle tickets for the purse... :P

Pookie, I'm going to use your recipe (with my twist) and do some of the cheesecake brownies to sell also!

Katie,

Do you want to add the Hannah Kessner Fundraiser Booth to a section of your posted Celebration of Youth Sports Event on the 20pm calendar? Or do we want to add a seperate event?

Thanks so much for letting us be apart of your CYS event for this very important cause!

Nate,

The booth space is still yours! I have 2 coolers and I will load them with ice to bring on that day. I will find out who to make checks out to and post it later this afternoon.

I think that Capital One is getting some tickets to a Rough Riders game to donate to our league for a raffle. If they get them, I will donate them to the Hannah cause instead. I should find out today.

Lastly, I will make brownies and cookies. At least 10-12 dozen cookies and 3 pans of brownies. I will probably package all these in baggies of 4-6 each.

Thanks for doing all this, Nate. I will let everyone know the booth will be there so we can start promoting it. I will have Laurie Barkham from the Chamber of Commerce send out an email blast today to everyone know that Hannah's booth will be at CYS2008.

Real quick Katie... make sure you tell Capital One you are changing what their donation benefits.  Some places have issues with that and could cause you some serious headaches.  They shouldnt have an issue with it but just make sure they are aware of the changes.  Some corporations refuse to do certain types of donations for various reasons.

I am hoping to find something to help donate... now which place is the food being served at?  I will probably do my part by coming and destroying my diet and buying lots of lovely yummies lol since I cant bake/cook  :D

I am not sure how much I can actually contribute or help, so I just sent out a mass email to spread the word to my family and friends.  The more people who are aware, the more people who can help!  ;)

Yeah, Trent Brookeshire just called me! I am going to meet him in 30 minutes. He wants to do something for Hannah!

I will post when I get back.

Heather,
thanks for the advice. I will find out and if it is a problem, I will just let our league raffle them off. Then we can just turn around and donate the money back.

Pookie,
I will add the info about the bake sale to my website, to my flyer, AND on any future advertising. I will have something in the paper next week.

I have some plastic table covers that I can donate.

Here is what I have

These are used, but they are clean and in good shape -- I just hated to throw them thinking I could use them for something.

Smiley Face, size 54 in. x 102 in.

My Little Pony , size -- ?

Solid Red, size -- ?

I'm thinking that the My Little Pony and solid red are similar in size to the other ones.

Brand New - Solid Purple, size 54 in x 108 in.

Let me know if you want to use them how I can get them to you.

I have some tablecovers that are paper.  I have 2 that are 54in by 96 in that have hears all over them then I have 2 more (same size) that have those candy hearts on them and say things like Love You, Kiss Me, Be Mine, Hug Me, etc on them.  They were from Target one year after their 90% off Valentine Day sale lol.  I also have a back of 24 2 ply napkins that have a bunch of sayings across it (like I just listed above) and candy heart borders.  I can take a pic you could use them.  Everything is sealed in plastic.
