Holy merde.  Here I was thinking that the signs would be used for something useful like "this way to the community park!" or "turn here for the city jail!"

Yeah cause they will pay for it.  Plus i forgot who said it in a previous thread but putting these up, in lieu of ugly plastic signs is much nicer.  Sucks for the ugly plastic sign guy....  Also we are gonna have builders here for a long long time

We were in Lewsiville last week and saw the exact same signs around town, also used for builders.  Then I saw the article that said it is the same company that was used.

Yes, I kind of face-palmed when I saw what those signs turned out to be for.
I was hoping for directional...... Thought it would be nice.
Tell ya one thing - those signs have primo, extremely visable locations!

They have to be in primo spots, or they won't sell and we'll have a bunch of blank signs.  :D

I liked the old builder's signs cuz you could borrow them for garage sales (outside city limits) I just stapled poster board over them with "garage sale" and a directional arrow, then the sign dudes would pick them up Sunday nights and take them away...LOL

Burleson does the same thing. Definitely better then having 50 signs in one spot on the side of the road.

You do realize that at least one of the slides on each sign WILL have a city-related directional indicator, right?  So it is a combintaion thing that benefits developers and the City.  The article refers to them as side panels, when I believe they were referred to as sLide panels.
