Alright, it's time to start that new feature I've been talking about the past few weeks. I'm going to open this thread and ask everyone to 'nominate' the sandwich shop, cafe, etc. they'd most like to see in Forney. Roughly a week from now, next Friday afternoon/evening, I'll close this thread. I'll then open up a poll that will be open for a week during which visitors to the site can choose one of the nominated businesses to vote for. The business that gets the most votes will become Forney's Most Wanted Sandwich Shop/Cafe. I'm going to start a list of Forney's Most Wanted... under the name 'Voice of Forney', and post that on the site, as well, showing all past winners of Forney's Most Wanted.

I'll then do some research on that company, get in touch with any key decision-makers at that company I can and let them know they were selected as Forney's Most Wanted and share some more information with them about Forney and the amazing growth and opportunities here in our town. I'll also post a 'press-release' type announcement about the winner under Voice of Forney: Forney's Most Wanted.

So, let's go ahead and get this started! What's your favorite sandwich shop or cafe that you'd most like to see in Forney? I'll go ahead and nominate one of my favorites, Corner Bakery - www.cornerbakery.com

I LOVE sandwich shops...excluding subway and quiznos.

My favorite is Corner Bakery.   My family budget might be in jeopardy if they put one of those in.   Also would like to see Schlotskys, Panera or Atlanta Bread Company.

How about a bagel place?   That sort of counts...   We need an Einsteins Bagel Co.

Corner Bakery would be a great asset but I would take a Jason's Deli.

I agree a Jason's deli wouold be nice, but that is the only place of the previously mentioned that I have ever eaten at.  Therefore, my vote can be excluded because I would welcome any of the above.

My family discussed this and we think it would be great to have the following restaurants in Forney:

Chipolte
Arby's
Taco Bueno
Long John Silvers
On the Border / Don Pablos
Golden Corral

Love this!  I would love to see La Madeline's! Enjoy Panera Bread, Jasons and Schlotski's.
I love these types of shops but I would also love to see some great restraunts like Salt Grass,
On the Border, Road House, Chedders, etc...  I'ld like some place in Forney to enjoy a Sunday -
after church lunch with my friends and family. (By the way, I love this idea!)

Jason's Deli would be my choice for sure.

AS an aside, just to try and help Josh out a bit.  The intent here is to limit this FIRST discussion to sammich shops.  Those of you suggesting other things like casual dining restaraunts, fast food, etc.  just be patient.  We (Josh) will get to those.  This is going to be a regular feature and will cover the spectrum of all different types of eateries, and I assume other types of stores as well.
