Of course everyone has their opinions... However this Agency which was created by the Socialist Muslim Obama is a great idea and was fought for very hard a year ago. Right now with all the hustle and bustle of Birth Certificates and Royal weddings this bill is literally getting no play....

Next week there are bills in play to gum up and slow down this institution.. The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. http://www.consumerfinance.gov/

I have followed this Elizabeth Warren lady since she came on the scene and Im sorry but we have very few people in our government that I have ever said I trust this person 100%.... The idea they have for a mortgage information sheet is a simple and easy way make the process of buying a home a much more understandable situation for everyone... Not to mention their main goal will be to make sure another huge financial crisis like the one we have just seen happens again... Not to mention another one of their starting projects will be to make Credit Card companies to removed fine print from contracts and make things in plain English... Common Sense stuff.... I'm sorry but really couldn't help but laugh. I am in no way calling you names, challenging you on your beliefs, or anything of the such, absolutely serious, but when I went to view this link and see that we're getting the "news" from a "reporter" like Jon Stewart, it just made me smile. Thanks for lightening up my day, honestly appreciate it.

Wow... just sad really... I dont get my news from Jon Stewart... geeze.. The main point was Elizabeth Warren an the new consumer protection bureau she was going to head...

but hey dont worry around the time Osama was killed. Sub Committees tore apart this organization and blocked Elizabeth Warren from heading it... So its ok this level headed, educated and not bought public servant is running for Senator in her home state...

Really.. I love how people can discount someone based on what shows etc they watch.. If you really think my only input for news is 20 minutes of Jon Stewart everyday... well... i just dont know what to say about that.. I love comedy what can I say.. like laughing at the group of people REIguy posted... Oakland is a totally different city than ares and freaks will be freaks... and sorry but i imagine someone gets murdered in Oakland fairly regularly anyhow...

But hey we all have our freedom to laugh at whatever and those folks you posted are some what funny except the second to last one... that man is obviously partially mentally ill and has not done those things to him self.. So yeah lets make fun of the less fortunate too.. whatever makes us feel better right...

and sorry but im no way calling you names and blah blah blah either.. but what source of news is reputable.. every single one of them has there slants... mainly because the majority of them are only owned by a handful of companies.. to me news is looking at different sources about a major issue.. then trying to understand any history etc involved in the issue and then making your own assumptions.. because I mean fox, msnbc, and abc never have slant and always tell the truth....

and actually when it comes to most of them... they are opinion channels not news... wow...

other than the fact that many shareholders in GM got screwed.. that bailout saved some 2 million jobs.. and if you think she was the only person who doled that money out your not thinking clearly.

just like every pie that comes out of washington every single powerful politician and lobby gets their cut..

and there is only one Elizabeth Warren.. so your rhetorical question wasn't needed.. I have watched her speak many times and she is very educated and knowledgable about what the bankers and politicians as a team pulled off in the mortgage crisis and she was trying to get people to listen but of course no one did..

You're such a hypocrite RJ. You say the shareholders under her bailout were screwed, but you promote the OccupyWherever people? You say that the strategy in the government giving GM money was good, but the government giving banks money was bad?

GM was to big to fail? (not) Too many people out of work? (maybe) Governments responsibility to step in? (HELL NO!). GM suffered because of many reasons -- greed, unions, foreign jobs

lol.... the shareholders were screwed... restructuring a huge company that employs millions in order to prevent mass unemployment is good and honestly in the case of the banks it was necessary as well..

Not sure what saying share holders getting screwed and supporting the occupy have to do with anything that make me a hypocrite..

personally I don't like either bail out but they were IMO necessary to keep our economy from completely collapsing... and it was not the giving of money to the banks that was bad... It was the gradual de regulation of them by our government which they used to game the system multiple times in order to make BILLIONS of dollars.

I have never and will never donate to a political, especially national political campaign.... At one point I wanted to support Obama and others.. however I changed my mind... This line is one of the biggest crocks in the "bailout" debacle: "that bailout saved some 2 million jobs.", maybe you forgot the little winky dude? How in the world can you prove a negative? There is no factual data to support this line. Did I mention I ran a guy off the road the other day? While it was unfortunate he was seriously injured, based on his prior driving habits I was able to take that subjective data and manipulate it to determine I actually saved 5 lives in the future. I was feeling bad at first until I learned by injuring this guy I was able to positively determine I had saved so many others, perhaps there's a medal for this..... As you stated, just Wow. Keep drinking the cool-aid man, it only tastes funny for a little while.....

colliedog is all kinds of froggy the last couple of days. I for one, love it. Partly because I know him and know that he is a man of impeccable character and is also one of the smartest people I know. LULzzz... All I will say is do your homework on GM... it if you are dense enough to think that only GM would have gone under and thing that GM does not support hundreds if not thousands of vendors, dealers, servicers etc.. not to mention the employees spending their money to buy services would not have had a huge impact on our society... well ROTFLMAO... keep that head in the sand.. im sure its warm....
