I'm not attempting to answer for WFS but this is my two cents. The atmosphere is very nice and laid back. The bowling price is not appealing but I'm willing to pay it for the atmosphere. But I am one of those serious bowlers (202 average). As for the sign about using your own ball. I have never had a problem with using my own ball and I've never had any damage.
We should go bowling some time. 8)

Maybe we should.  I'm getting rusty. I haven't been in several months. I miss bowling on a league but I just don't have time anymore. My average is a direct result of the league bowling. I was bowling 2-3 nights per week on league and strike pot bowling on a fourth night. What is your average? I need to make sure you can keep up with me without using a handicap ;D ;)

I totally respect lane etiquette. I get very angry with drunk a**holes that don't respect my space when I'm lining up my shot.

Oh I can keep up. ;)  I average right around where you are.  I've been bowling 2-3 times a month lately and I've been throwing the bowl real well.  I've been contemplating getting back into some tournaments cause I miss them alot.  I need new equipment though and  ^blah

It's $1.50 from 2-5(they open at 2). I usually go at 2 before all the smokers get in. It's your more traditional bowling alley.

arent they open later then that?? i mean most bowling alleys i went to as a kid were open til at least 10 if not midnight.  i've considered getting my own ball that way i dont have to go hunt one down every time i go and i play enough that i should.  my dad has got a 13lber i think that right, made by brunswick.  needs to go in the polisher, its 25 yrs old.  but not in bad shape for its age.

Hell, you might beat the poop out of me. At least, in the beginning. I need to get out more but work has been so busy that I don't get much free time. My 202 average is my last recorded average when I left the league 3 years ago and moved up here. Since then, I've only been bowling 3-4 times a year. Each time I go I typically bowl the first game in the 160 range, second game in the 180 range and third game in the 200+ range. Which is below what I averaged on a league. Of course, anything can happen after the third game because my arm is basically jello at that point.

It's been many years since I've been there actually.  The last time I was there they still had manual scoring and that was WAY after most bowling alleys had went automatic.  I've been avoiding it even thought they remodeled but I heard recently that it's much better than it use to be so I may try it soon just for grins.

:lmao: I understand.  When you get out of practice it takes some time to get all the muscle back in bowling form.  When I'm out of it for a bit and then go bowling my hand muscles hurt the next day.  ;D

Taxes should be used for NEEDS not wants.  You WANT something extra/special pay for it yourself, don't share the burden with other homeowners.  Why should people's taxes be so high and unaffordable?
